PROCESS
Each coaching process is individual and is tailored to your needs and wishes. The duration and frequency of the coaching depends on the topic, your wishes and the development in the process. Sometimes only a few meetings are necessary to initiate a change process. In other cases, support over a longer period of time is appropriate. The individual meetings last 1.5 – 2 hours on average. Some topics can also be dealt with in compact one- to two-day workshops. (“Coaching compact”) The following is an example of the process flow as a guide:
1. Get to know each other
It all starts with a free initial consultation to provide orientation for both client and coach. Both sides examine whether they can imagine a trusting collaboration.
2. Agreement/contract
If both sides decide to work together, a contract is signed which includes a brief outline of the initial situation, the goal, the expected duration of the coaching and the costs. This gives both sides clarity and transparency for further cooperation.
3. Work phase
Depending on the topic, this is divided into several working sessions and/or workshops. The content and procedure are agreed with the customer so that there is always transparency and clarity about the process. A concrete goal is agreed for each individual appointment, the achievement of which is assessed at the end of the lesson. Initially, I need a detailed understanding of your situation and the topic to be addressed in the coaching. I will then conduct a biographical interview with you, which will help me to get to know you better.
4. Conclusion
At the end of the coaching, a balance sheet is drawn up. What has been achieved? What was good? What could the customer take away for themselves personally?
5. Evaluation after 3-6 months
Three to six months after the coaching session, I like to arrange a follow-up meeting to reflect on the lasting success of the coaching. I try to end each coaching session with specific tasks for the coachee to practice. I also keep track of these and the coachee is also reminded of appointments or similar in the meantime by arrangement. At the beginning of the next coaching session, the implementation and successes are discussed.
